Chapter I. The Intuition
It all started with a feeling
A deep emotion floated through my body. A mix of peacefulness and the intimate emotion of feeling where you need to be.
Originally from the Northeast of France, my ambitions and my willingness to discover the world led me to live abroad. After coming back, a need to get closer to myself emerged.
During those moments, all I needed was to find peace. Traveling was a means to reach that goal.
Traveling and living across the South of France is a particular experience. An entirely different lifestyle from other parts of the same country.
From the bustling streets of Paris to the mountains of the Pays Basque, that specific part of France offers beauty, relaxation right when you drop off the train: the Art Déco architecture of buildings in Nice. The smell of saffron in Istanbul’s market. The move of this man’s body walking in the streets of Roma.
Those incomparable feelings of peace made me internally change for the better. Focus on what truly matters and live with my passions for traveling, understanding cultures, and writing.
Chapter II. To be reborn
“Le Charme Azur”as a photography style and outlook on life
Those peaceful yet intense moments were emotions that I wanted to convey to people around me. A scenery deeply rooted in reality with a specific twist.
I named my photo style “Charme Azur.” Two words to convey the tanned skin during summer. The fresh smell of orange juice. The gentle touch of your partner on your dry skin. The joyful moments shared with friends on a terrace during the month of August.
This universe, I want it to be a living, organic life. This is why it is divided into three fragments to carry the Mediterranean with you.
A scenery rooted in reality, sensuality, and emotions with a specific twist.
Chapter III. The signature
Traveling and living across the South of France is a particular experience.
Photography. A frame is never just a frame; it holds a quality of light, a body in motion, and the grain of time passing. Portraits, architecture, the quietly charged moments of an August afternoon. Printed, framed, and made to last on your wall.
Literature. A curated library of voices from across the basin—Spain to Egypt, Morocco to Greece, celebrating history, identity, and the weight of belonging somewhere. Books that ask questions rather than answer them. Books that provide comfort, knowing that we are not going through tough situations.
A podcast. One conversation at a time, one question underneath all of them: how does a person carry where they come from? Crossroads brings together artists, travelers, and people building a life between two shores.
